The application of electrified railway traction transformer
Electrified railway is composed of electric locomotives and traction power supply device, traction power supply device is generally divided into traction substation and contact network two parts, so people also called electric locomotives, traction substation and contact network for the electrified railway “three major components”.
Contact network is set up along the railroad line over the electric locomotive power supply to the form of transmission lines. It consists of contact suspension, support devices, positioning devices, pillars and foundations of several parts.
Contact suspension includes contact line, hanging string, bearing cable and connecting parts. The contact suspension is erected on the pillar through the support device, and its function is to transmit the electric energy obtained from the traction substation to the electric locomotive.
The function of the traction substation is to transform the three-phase 110KV (or 220KV) high-voltage alternating current into two single-phase 27.5KV alternating current, and then supply power to the contact network (rated voltage 25KV) in the upward and downward directions of the railroad, and the contact network on each side of the traction substation is called the power supply arm.
External power supply of traction substation
The traction power supply system is generally supplied by a larger capacity power system outside the railroad again. The power system has many kinds of electric grade network and equipment, of which 110KV and above voltage grade transmission lines, linked with transformers in regional substations, are mainly used to transmit powerful electricity, using them to electrified railroad traction substation transmission of electricity, power supply traction force. In order to ensure the reliability of power supply, by the power system to the traction substation high-voltage transmission lines without exception for the double line. Two double back line for each other as a backup, usually are in a charged state, once a circuit power supply failure, the other back to automatically put, so as to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Main wiring of traction substation
Traction substation (including zoning kiosk, open and close, AT, etc.), in order to complete the acceptance of power, high voltage and distribution of power work, its electrical wiring can be divided into two major parts: primary wiring (main wiring) and secondary wiring.
The main wiring refers to the traction substation primary equipment (i.e., high-voltage, strong current equipment) connection, the traction transformer is also a substation to receive power, transformer and distribution of power path. It reflects the basic structure and function of the traction substation.
Secondary wiring refers to the secondary equipment in the traction substation (i.e., low-voltage, weak-current equipment) connection. Its role is to control the working state of the equipment in the main wiring, monitoring, measurement and the realization of relay protection and motorization. Secondary wiring plays an important role in the safe and reliable operation of the primary main equipment.
